In providing ministry, we must know those persons to whom we minister. Single Adults are defined as persons 18-64 who are not presently married. It's important to emphasize that these are adults -- persons as fully capable of managing their daily affairs and making decisions as are married persons. (Full-time college students are considered a part of our Student Ministry, as there are significant differences between students and single adults. Single persons in retirement years may wish to be involved in the Senior Adult Ministry.)

Single Adults include never-marrieds, widowed,divorced, separated, and single parents. They are involved in every area of ministry and service to our church. There are certain programs or ministries specific to the needs of single adults, such as Divorce Care and premarital counseling.

The mission statement of our Single Adult Ministry is "to be more like Jesus Christ." The spiritual growth of our single adults is of utmost importance. We have a great leadership team as well as talented Bible study teachers. Many of our single adults serve as teachers or workers in other areas on Sundays.
