Goal & Purpose : To share the Gospel with neighboring children and families near Eastmont Baptist Church through Once-A-Month Week-Long Summer Clubs so that relationships may be built which lead to Salvation, Ministry, and Discipleship with the body of believers at Eastmont Baptist or other Bible-believing churches. We also strive to provide spiritual nourishment and revival in our church and city through Worship & Teaching each night of Clubs to keep up the enthusiasm of 1J2 Ministries. Relationships with families will be built that will open doors to further witnessing & ministering from the Ministers & church members of Eastmont as well as allowing invitations to join our church body in worship, program participation, and membership.  1 John 2:2 “He himself is the sacrifice that atones for our sins, and not only our sins but the sins of all the world.

S.O.S. Ministry

Alabama SOS works under SOS Events, founded by Tom & Carolyn Curtis in 2001, which has led over 70,000 to come to know Christ utilizing a biblically-based, simple, but highly-effective method called “The 3 Things God Cannot Do.”

Since SOS started at Eastmont in 2013, we have seen thousands locally come to Christ using this method through on site church events such as Eastmont’s Annual Car Show, Country Country Concert, Spring & Fall Yard Sales, Trunk or Treat and Children’s Christmas Festival and in connection with off site events such as The Alabama National Fair, Frazer UMC’s Annual Yard Sale and the Spring & Fall NASCAR races at Talladega, where we have partnered with Alabama Raceway Ministries (“ARM”) and First Baptist Church of Montgomery to work within ministry sites at Talladega Superspeedway.

For more information or to request a complimentary demonstration and training of this method for yourself or your church members, please visit our website or check us out on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram by clicking the link(s), below. You may also email us at alabamaservingoursavior@gmail.com.

Please contact Patty Mills at 334.399.5924 to get plugged into this ministry as a soulwinner (training provided), to set up/take down, as a prayer warrior, by providing donations or helping with follow up!

Local Mission Projects

All ministry groups participate in local mission projects; but we also have church-wide mission projects like the EBC Family Jamboree (a community event featuring kickball games, kid’s activities, concessions & more). Our other local mission projects include: youth helping with yard work for the elderly, the single adults baking cookies for a local community outreach program, a Rock-A-Thon (where the Sr. Adults rock in chairs to raise money for a local school), and many more.
