Children’s Ministry

Children's Ministry 1

Eastmont Kids exists to partner with parents to help children and preschoolers have a knowledge of who Jesus is, a love for Jesus, and establish a Biblical worldview. The world is going to try to tell kids what it thinks truth is, we believe it is extremely important that our kids have a foundation on what to believe and why we believe it. All of our classes are centered on the truth of God’s word and displayed through teaching time, games, and activities.

SUNDAY MORNING LIFEGROUPS

On Sunday mornings, our children gather in age/grade-leveled classes to learn God’s Word. We use Lifeway’s Gospel Project curriculum to help kids see that the Bible isn’t just a collection of stories, but one BIG story that points to Jesus. All of our teachers are background checked. They have a heart for kids to understand the Bible and the good news of Jesus.

SUNDAY MORNING PRESCHOOL

We have Sunday Morning Preschool classes during the LifeGroup hour as well as classes during worship service. All teachers and volunteers are background checked and vetted before working in the preschool classes so that parents can leave their kids with us during the service and worship with peace of mind.

WEDNESDAYS NIGHTS

On Wednesday nights our Preschoolers attend Mission Friends. Each month our preschoolers are introduced to different missionary families that live across our nation and the world, telling people the good news of Jesus. Eastmont preschoolers learn about other cultures as well as ways to pray and support those missionaries.
Our Kindergarteners through 6th Graders attend Bible Skills, Drills, and Thrills. This curriculum is filled with games and activities designed to help kids grow in their understanding of the Bible and Scripture memorization. We participate in church, association, and regional Bible Drill competitions.

TRIPS AND EVENTS

There are a few major events that we plan in Children’s Ministry that are always a blast. We utilize these events with the purposes of reaching our community and a focus on Children’s discipleship.
